Andrew has been playing trumpet and flugelhorn professionally for 23 years; he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from California State University, Los Angeles. Although he plays, writes, and arranges many styles of music, his first love is Jazz. The “Long Beach Jazz Festival”, L.A. Classic Jazz Festival”, “Sawdust Festival”, “Art Affair”, and the “Orange County Art and Jazz Festival” are a small list of many exciting musical events where you can hear him perform. In addition to the special events in Southern California, he is often heard in many of the leading restaurants and clubs throughout the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. You may have already heard Andrew playing in television commercials for Nutra Systems, the Los Angeles Times, AM / PM Mini Markets or perhaps even an episode or two of the Saturday morning cartoon, “Spiderman”.
Andrew has had the pleasure of performing with such artists as Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston, Wayne Henderson, Bobby Lyle, Chaka Khan, Brenda Russell, and Randi Crawford. He has released his first solo CD entitled, “Home Again”. And now he's made a new home with Lisa Gay and Thrill.
